12/08/24 0.1.2c Update

0.1.2 Update Changelog

I've known about the various framerate issues people have been having so I had started looking into how various objects/systems were performing a few weeks back.

Turns out, I built all of my models improperly, causing an incredible amount of meshes to be generated per object and, well, you can only send a few hundred to a GPU at any given time, not the 2700+ my improper modelling technique had created.

There are a bunch of objects in the world already. I went ahead and rebuilt a few objects to follow this much nicer modeling method and the performance change was immediately noticable. The next update following this one will be entirely focused on rebuilding all existing models to use this new method.

I strongly believe that you all should be able to hit a solid 60/144/(enter monitor refresh rate here) fps by this next performance focused update.
